Rebecca is an RIBA Chartered Architect. She studied at the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne where she won the RIBA Northern Region Hadrian Award for Student Architecture. Before moving to Keswick Rebecca was a senior architect at award winning firm Architecture PLB working on educational, housing and commercial projects. Prior to setting up Miller Clear Architects Rebecca worked for ADK in Keswick. Rebecca has a particular interest in designing modern, energy efficient buildings that complement the local character of the National Park.

Laura is an RIBA Chartered Architect, educated at the University of Cambridge. Laura has worked on the high profile remodelling of the Grade 1 listed Holburne Museum in Bath and, at Eric Parry Architects, on the RIBA award winning 60 Threadneedle St. She has been a tutor at the University of Cambridge and is a council member of the Lancaster & Westmorland Society of Architects. Laura is involved with the Lake District National Park’s Design in Excellence programme and has been a shortlisting advisor for the RIBA North West Awards

Simon Blunden

Simon is an ARB Registered Architect who studied at the University of Cambridge. He is the president of the RIBA Lancaster & Westmorland Society of Architects. Whilst at Stanton Williams in London Simon worked on the Sainsbury Laboratory for the University of Cambridge, 2012 winner of the Stirling Prize. Since moving to Cumbria Simon has developed his skills in the renovation and re-ordering of listed and historic buildings, working for several years at conservation specialists Haigh Architects in Kendal.
